The viscoelastic gel contained in Teosyal Ultimate Puresense is composed of cross-linked, transparent, sterile, non-pyrogenic hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin and helps maintain good skin hydration. It contains lidocaine, a component with anaesthetic properties, to reduce pain during injection.

Each box contains 2 pre-filled syringes with Teosyal PureSense Ultimate.

Sterile needles and traceability labels (one to be given to the patient, and one to be kept by the doctor in the patient file).

Duration of results after Teosyal Ultimate Puresense injection

Teosyal PureSense Ultimate is biodegradable and slowly resorbs over time. Depending on the depth of the wrinkles to be treated, generally one, and sometimes two treatment sessions are required to achieve an optimal level of correction. Periodic touch-ups are then carried out to maintain the desired level of correction. Depending on the area treated and the injection technique used, the sensitivity of the injection may be different and vary from person to person.

Please note that the injection of this product requires a technical medical procedure that must be carried out by a doctor (doctor specialising in dermo aesthetics, dermatologist, plastic surgeon).

• What is treated with hyaluronic acid injections?

Hyaluronic acid injections are an attractive aesthetic solution for treating age-related changes in skin quality and appearance. We can inject hyaluronic acid under the skin to fill and plump specific areas. Hyaluronic acid injections are performed for:

– Filling in the wrinkles

– Reshape the cheeks

– Adding volume and contouring the lips

– Reversing the phenomenon of facial ptosis

– Reduce the appearance of “hollows” in the skin due to acne scars or wounds

– Improve the elasticity and hydration of the skin of the face, hands, neck and chest.

• How are hyaluronic acid injections performed?

After cleaning the injection area with an antibacterial agent, a local anaesthetic can be used to prevent pain. In some cases, the hyaluronic acid filler contains an anaesthetic.

During the procedure, small amounts of hyaluronic acid are injected into the surface or deep layers of the skin

Once the procedure is complete, the doctor massages the treated areas to achieve optimal distribution of the injected product.

The procedure usually takes less than 30 minutes, depending on the area to be treated.

• How often are hyaluronic acid injections needed?

The effects of hyaluronic acid fillers last for varying lengths of time, depending on the type of product used and the area in which it was administered. However, since hyaluronic acid eventually resorbs and is absorbed by the body, the effects are not permanent. To achieve lasting results, injections must be repeated every 6 to 24 months.

• What is the recovery time after a hyaluronic acid injection?

Most patients tolerate the injection without irritation or complication and do not require any recovery time. However, immediately after the treatment, the area may be red, swollen and bruised, but this disappears within a few days.

Unlike permanent injectable fillers, the effect of all hyaluronic acid fillers is reversible, and the product naturally resorbs over time.
