Juvederm ULTRA 3 is a highly cross-linked formulation for more versatility in contouring and volumising medium to deep facial lines and skin depressions, such as nasolabial folds. Also enhances lip contour and volume. When used at the corners of the mouth, it can also add subtle extra volume to the lips for a visual effect that goes beyond simply smoothing out lines and wrinkles. This allows for a final rejuvenation effect that combines smoother skin with contoured and lifted lips.
Juvéderm ULTRA 3 contains non-animal, cross-linked hyaluronic acid with the addition of 0.3% lidocaine, local anesthetic to provide more comfort both during and after injection. Supplied in two 1.0 ml syringes, this dermal filler offers close control over how much of the product is dispensed, as well as the precise position and depth at which it is placed in the skin.
Hyaluronic acid is completely broken down within the skin over a period of months, eventually leaving no trace of the filler. According to the manufacturer Juvéderm ULTRA 3 has enhanced stability and resistance to degradation by heat and the body’s metabolism, providing a duration of the product up to 12 months.
